Kick off your ATPE Summit experience at the Great American Summit Social—an outdoor welcome reception where good food and great company will set the tone for the days ahead. Opening General Session: Juan Bendana & the Leader of the Year Awards

Juan Bendana is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, best-selling author, entrepreneur, and the behind-the-scenes confidence coach to Olympians, Grammy Award-winning artists, actors, CEOs, and Fortune 100 leaders. Join us for a special celebration of all things “Red, White & You” with a good old-fashioned ATPE family picnic! This outdoor welcome reception will set the tone for the days ahead. Admission is included in the full registration, and guest tickets are available for $25 each. Food will be available for an additional cost.
PAC After Hours with Headliner Devin Siebold

You know him as the viral social media comedian and star of the Bored Teachers National Comedy Tour—now Devin Siebold is headlining PAC After Hours, a special one-night-only comedy fundraiser benefiting your ATPE Political Action Committee (ATPE-PAC)! Add on your $30 ticket during the registration process to enjoy laughs and good times supporting public education-friendly candidates and officeholders. Tickets are limited.

Closing General Session: Devin Siebold & the Educator of the Year Awards
11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16
This is the one you have been waiting for! You will recognize Devin Siebold as the hilarious comedian from TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook and as a headliner from the popular Bored Teachers National Comedy Tour. Administrators have come to know him as the “best speaker we’ve had in all my 30 years.” Devin delivers nonstop laughs and shows educators how laughter can not only change your own mindset but also the mindset of those around you. He’ll discuss building classroom community around humor, share the science of healing and mental wellness through laughter, and even give a powerful lesson on conquering negativity. Devin’s more than a decade of award-winning, clean stand-up comedy experience along with 13 years as a highly effective teacher in Title I schools combine to create a relatable, real, and ridiculously funny experience you won’t forget.
We will also recognize the recipients of the ATPE Charles Pickitt Educator of the Year Awards during this session.
