Registration

Individual Registration

Registration will open in late April. We will update this page once registration is open.

NEW THIS YEAR: All attendees must individually register themselves. The registration process is now separate from the delegate certification process.

Delegate Certification (Deadline: June 7, 2024)

The ATPE House of Delegates includes the association’s five state officers, past state presidents, current region officers, current local unit presidents, and additional delegates selected at the local or regional level. Delegates representing a local unit must be certified by their local unit president. Delegates who are at-large members or region officers must be certified by their region president. The number of delegates allotted for local units and at-large members is based upon membership counts as of Feb. 1. Public members are not eligible to serve as delegates.

Delegate certification will open at the same time as attendee registration.

If you are interested in becoming a delegate:

  1. Register yourself individually to attend the ATPE Summit. You must register individually in addition to being certified as a delegate by your local unit or region president (as applicable).
  1. Contact your local unit president—or, if you are an at-large member, your region president—to express your interest in serving as a delegate. Your president is the only one who can certify you to serve as a voting delegate.

If you are a local unit or region president:

  1. First, register yourself individually to attend the ATPE Summit.
  1. Watch for an email from ATPE containing your unique delegate certification link. The link in the email message will be the only way for you to certify your delegates. (You cannot certify delegates from the ATPE Summit website.)
  1. ATPE will provide you with information on the number of delegates you may certify, as well as a list of the members in your local unit or region who are eligible to become delegates.
  1. Identify members of your local unit or at-large members within your region who are interested in serving as delegates. Ensure they have registered themselves individually as summit attendees.
  1. Certify your delegates no later than June 7
  1. There is no certification required for “alternate delegates.” After the certification deadline, if you need to make a substitution for a delegate who is unable to attend, you must submit that request in writing to summit@atpe.org no later than July 2.

If you have any questions about registration or delegate certification, visit our FAQ page or contact ATPE Events at summit@atpe.org.
